According to Statistics Canada, the Saskatchewan unemployment rate for January 2010 was 5.1 percent. This is an increase of 0.8 percentage points from the December 2009 rate of 4.3 percent and 0.5 percentage points higher than the January 2009 level of 4.6 percent.
