According to Statistics Canada, the Saskatchewan unemployment rate for January 2010 was 5.1 percent. This is an increase of 0.8 percentage points from the December 2009 rate of 4.3 percent and 0.5 percentage points higher than the January 2009 level of 4.6 percent.

According to Statistics Canada, the Saskatchewan All-items Consumer Price Index increased 0.3 percent between December 2009 and January 2010 while the Canada All-items Index also increased 0.3 percent.
